Since 1998, Indiana Cave Capers has solicited nominations for the tradition of Awards to be given at the event to deserving cavers and land owners/cave managers. Traditionally there are (2)two awards:

The "Louis Denbo Lamon Award" for a caver who has contributed to caving in Indiana.

And the "Landowner Appreciation Award" for the Land owners/cave manager in Indiana who has demonstrated a commitment to good cave management and good relationships with cavers.
